Managed to get my hands on a bike for 40€€ (thanks Lars!) and spent some of Saturday doing some modifications under the code name ''Pimp my Fahrad". The bike is by no means the state-of-the-art (unless we were in 1985) but it serves its purpose well. Lars and myself added some new wheels (17" rims to come later..) and some lights, and of course, a little bell -- very mucho, I must admit. Phase II will include the 12" subwoofers and a LCD monitor. Tomorrow I will take my new wheels to work - it's about 10km from where I live and I have a rough idea of how to get there. However, if you see no more entries in my blog after more than a week, please call the German police search squad...
